Six steps from load tender to signed POD
- 01
Tender the load
Send it through the portal, the quote form or a plain email. Origin, destination, date, equipment, commodity — that's all we need.
- 02
Firm all-in rate
Our desk prices the lane against live market data and returns one all-in number. No fuel surprises, no post-booking rate creep.
- 03
Carrier sourcing
We source from vetted capacity only: authority, insurance, safety rating and performance history checked before dispatch.
- 04
Dispatch & paperwork
Rate confirmation out, BOL and any accessorials confirmed, driver briefed on pickup numbers and appointment windows.
- 05
Proactive check calls
Loaded call, daily in-transit updates and exception alerts. You hear it from us before your consignee hears it from you.
- 06
POD in the file
Signed POD, weight tickets and lumper receipts land in the shipment file the same day. Invoicing matches the rate you approved.
Every mode your freight actually needs

Expedited & Hot Shot
Down-line, line-down and same-day freight. Sprinters through team-driven 53s dispatched against a hard delivery window.
Temperature-Controlled
Protect-from-freeze through deep frozen, with continuous-run set points, reefer download on request and food-grade trailer standards.

Port and ramp pulls, container drayage, transloading and door-to-door intermodal when transit time allows a rail conversion.

Shippers who stopped chasing email threads
"One rate, one contact, and I can see the check calls myself. We stopped emailing three brokers for every load."
"They caught a reefer set-point issue before our receiver did. That call alone paid for the year."
"Onboarding took a morning. Credit was approved next day and the portal invite came with it."
Questions shippers ask us first
Where are you based and where do you ship?
Our office and dispatch desk are in Brampton, Ontario, in the Greater Toronto Area. We move freight domestically across Canada, throughout the United States, and on cross-border lanes in both directions.
Are you a broker or a carrier?
ShipIn48 is a licensed freight brokerage. Most freight moves on vetted carrier partners we source and manage, and we can also place loads on dedicated, asset-based equipment through our transportation partner when that is the better fit.
What does 'backed by transportation experience since 2005' mean?
Our brokerage is newly established. We work alongside an experienced transportation company that has been moving freight across North America since 2005, so our team brings real operational knowledge from both the carrier and brokerage sides.
Do you handle customs on cross-border loads?
We prepare and transmit the carrier-side documentation — PARS northbound, PAPS southbound, ACE and ACI eManifest — and coordinate with your customs broker of record. Bonded and in-bond moves are available on request.
How fast do I get a rate?
Most lanes are priced the same business day, and expedited requests within the hour. Every rate is all-in: linehaul, fuel and the accessorials you disclosed.
What does 'covered in 48' mean?
It's our commitment to have a confirmed carrier assigned to your load within 48 hours of an accepted rate. Our current average load-to-truck time is under 48 hours.
How do you vet carriers?
Active operating authority, a satisfactory FMCSA safety profile, minimum $100,000 cargo and $1M auto liability with certificates on file, plus a performance history review before we dispatch.
What is the shipper portal?
A private account where you tender loads, approve rates, watch check calls in real time and download PODs, BOLs and invoices. It replaces the email-thread-per-load workflow.
What are your payment terms?
Standard terms are net 30 following a credit review during onboarding. Larger volume accounts can request extended terms with trade references.
Send us the load. We move it in 48.
Onboard as a shipper in minutes — credit review, account setup and a portal invite within one business day.
